In plain words: aquaponics grows vegetables and raises fish together - the fish feed the plants, the plants clean the water for the fish. No soil, and the fish do most of the fertilising.
Hydroponics grows plants in water using man-made liquid nutrients you mix by hand. Aquaponics replaces most of that bottled feed with a living, closed-loop cycle - fish waste feeds the plants, the plants clean the water. We teach and build both.
Their waste supplies the nitrogen plants need most, so there is far less to buy and mix.

🇸🇬 Why it matters here: Singapore imports over 90% of its food. Aquaponics grows fresh greens locally using up to 90% less water than soil farming - a hands-on way to support the nation's 2035 food-security goals, even from an HDB balcony.
See it in action on a farm visit →Most of what we run is booked privately for a group. This one is open to everybody - turn up on the next dated Sunday session, 10.00am to 11.30am, feed the tilapia, get your hands into the growbeds and take home greens you picked yourself.
You do not need to bring a child. It is pitched so a five-year-old and a curious adult each get something out of the same 90 minutes.
