A farm in the city - not a trek out to Kranji. Most farms in Singapore sit way out in Lim Chu Kang or Kranji. Ours is at 2 Kallang Avenue, a short MRT ride or drive from town, with parking right here. No long journey out west just to see where your food really comes from.

Little Farmers Workshop - one Sunday a month, open to everyone

Everything above is booked privately for your own group. This one already has a date on it. Turn up on the next dated Sunday and join whoever else has booked.

What makes it different

  • 📅 Same session, fixed date. It is our Farm Explorer Experience - the same 1.5 hours, the same $50 adult and $30 child - sold on a set Sunday instead of by private arrangement.
  • 🙋 No group to assemble. Book for one person, or two. You do not need a party of ten to get a date.
  • 🌅 Weekend morning. 10.00am to 11.30am, done before lunch, at 2 Kallang Avenue.

No child required. Little Farmers describes the size of the farm, not the size of the farmer. Come on your own, come as a couple, or bring the whole family - the session is pitched so that a five-year-old and a curious adult each take something different out of the same 90 minutes. If you have been meaning to grow something at home and would rather learn it with your hands than from a video, this is the one.

Schools & preschools

Little Farmers for schools - aligned to the MOE Science syllabus & NEL framework

A learning journey your class will still be talking about next term. Every school visit is our Farm Explorer Experience - the same 1.5 hours, pitched to the level you teach and charged at a flat rate per child. We turn syllabus topics into things children do with their hands, on a working farm in the city rather than an hour out west. Tell us the level and we'll match the session.

How a school visit runs

  • 💲 $30 per child for a 1.5-hour session.
  • 📅 Weekday mornings - Tuesdays are the day we hold open for schools.
  • 👥 Minimum 5, maximum 40 children per session. Bigger cohorts split into two back-to-back sessions in one morning, so it stays one visit day for you.

Centres pay for the children only

When your childcare or preschool arranges the visit, teachers and accompanying caregivers come free - so a class of 20 with 6 adults is still priced for 20.

Every station has a watching option as well as a doing option, and the sheltered pavilion doubles as a quiet space. Tell us what your group needs and we'll plan around it.

Every group is different - so is every experience we design. Tell us the occasion, who is coming and the mood you are after, and we will build a package around it. You've got two contrasting spaces to play with - a breezy open-air pavilion and a cool air-conditioned function room - plus plenty more:

Our farm experiences work as team learning sessions too - where food actually comes from, what closed-loop growing involves, and why Singapore is working towards growing 20% of its vegetables locally by 2035. Book any of the three packages as they stand for your team, or tell us what you need and we will customise the package around it. Message us what your team needs.

Sheltered BBQ Pavilion · Open-air

Our sheltered, open-air outdoor pavilion - strung with fairy lights and cooled by fans. It comes alive in the evening, making it the perfect gathering spot before, during or after your farm experience.

Plan your visit with confidence

Every session runs at our own working farm at 2 Kallang Avenue, built and still run by two practising doctors - Dr. Lim Jia Yang, a GP who has been growing aquaponics since 2015, and Dr. Wang Fei Fan, an ENT specialist. Read their story.

👥 Group sizes

From a single family up to about 40 people in one session - larger cohorts split into two back-to-back sessions in the same morning. Message us your headcount and we will tell you how your visit would run.
